Things I hate:
Dingy wall-to-wall carpeting.
Things I love:
Paint swatches. (even though they drive me insane)
Finding out that original wide-plank flooring is hiding under said dingy carpeting.
(Above, the floors before a little sanding and varathane.)
And voila! After! (Note the shoe color change. Sanding perk.)
