Finally some nice photos of the London kitchen and living room we redid in a few whirlwind weeks last summer! Enjoy and check out the full post on A Cup of Jo.
Despite what the article says, we made 100% of the design decisions and carried out 100% of the work with our own four hands. (The client was in Venice during the entire project.) We plastered the pink and grey walls; we built the kitchen shelves, a new kitchen table, a new kitchen island, and a console table in the living room; we sourced all the vintage pieces from different flea markets and second-hand shops in London and along the southern coast; we even replaced the mantlepiece and opened up the doorway between the kitchen and living room. You can see how everything looked for years and years before we worked our magic, right here on our blog. But be warned! It’s not pretty.

I saw this post a few days ago and was surprised at the minimal credit, I had to do a ctrl+f to find the word ‘Jersey’ hidden at the bottom. Those pink walls are incredible, the whole flat has such a calm, romantic feel. I like to walk around my old house and imagine those incredible Venetian plaster walls, maybe someday xx

I’m so excited to finally see the rest of this project! You guys did an amazing job, as usual. Sorry to hear there’s been an issue. It’s disappointing and frustrating to not get the credit you deserve. I don’t understand, because ever since discovering Jersey Ice Cream Co. I’ve been saying that I’d be so happy and honoured if you’d come pimp out my future house (once I get rich enough for mortgage approval. Right now I’m just a broke-ass renter.). If and when that day comes, I’ll be shouting your names from the rooftops! Actually, I’ve just started a blog and a couple of weeks ago I wrote a piece about Rose Quartz, used some of these pictures and credited you guys as the designers. I hope it’s some consolation that this project is out there on the web with your names underneath it. http://www.paperandmoon.com/home/2016/3/14/how-to-decorate-with-pantones-colour-of-the-year-rose-quartz

All credit to you Jersey, your work is beautiful. Shameful that your client and the writer make out they’re the clever ones.
